Puzzle Piece

I'm the girl in the shadows
I'm the creator of fantasy worlds
I’m at a loss for words
And you’d never know, but I can fly

I’m the girl who’s usually smiling
Even when things aren’t right inside
I’m the one who’s always there
A nameless face you pass in the hallway

I’m the weird girl
I’m a Picasso painting
I’m the puzzle piece that just won’t fit
I’m the star against the midnight sky

I’m the dancer in the storm
I’m the flower in the sand
I’m the elephant in the room
I’m the singer in my imaginary band

Sound Devices Sonnet

Written by Jordan Grimble and Mitchell Pate

The twisting tongue twister touches tough tongues
From “Sally sells sea shells by the sea shore,”
Masterminds try to climb twisters like rungs
Writing about tongue twisters being whores

The silly nilly twisty tongue twister
Gushing ghoulish jumbled sounds from the mouth
But, the sister’s mister got a blister
Unless gifted, trying will send you south

Tying the tongue into crazy clusters
Slippery sliding sounds slip through the teeth
Easy to read, difficult to muster
And so leaving man six feet underneath

Readily repeating radicals
Will almost always end up stopping hearts
